  • What is The MJ Treatment cancellation policy?

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to 50% of the cost of the scheduled service. No shows are charged a cancellation fee of 50% of full service initially scheduled. When an appointment is cancelled, the cancellation fee will not be applied to a future appointment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and therapist is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. For these reasons, we are obligated to compensate our therapists for their time as well as makeup for the lost revenue. This policy allows us to retain great therapists.

  • What time should I arrive for my Spa service(s)?

New guests are required to fill out a New Client Profile upon arrival. Please call or text prior to arriving. We ask that you arrive and enter at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start time of your FIRST scheduled service.

Belly/Body Casting

  • When should I make my belly cast?

There is really no limitation. Generally, we recommend a belly cast be made between the 30 and 38 weeks of pregnancy.

  • What should I wear?

You can wear something comfortable and preferably old since it may be ruined during the casting process.  Casting is made on bare skin or an old bra may be worn.  Wearing a bra will give you added lift and support. For the lower part of your body, you can wear a pair of old panties, boy shorts or sweatpants. (no sports bra, lace or embellishments on the bra.)

  • How soon will my belly cast be available for collection?

Your raw cast can stay with you. If you decide to purchase an add-on option, your finished cast can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks depending on the work being done to it. When completed, the spa will contact you for pickup. Your belly cast must be picked-up within 7 days to avoid storage fees of $3.00 per day. Any belly/body cast leftover 30 days will be considered the property of the MJ Treatment.

If the Casting product is not picked up by the client with-in 30 days, we reserve the right to claim it ownership as "Property of The MJ Treatment".

The MJ Treatment will travel to the following locations (no travel fee within 5-mile radius of 10467): Bronx, Yonkers, and Mt. Vernon.

    * Other Boroughs/Cities there is a travel fee starting at $45+. *In NYC, there is a parking fee if we park in a parking lot due to no street parking.

  • Shipping Information?

Your cast can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. by either Fed-Ex or UPS at an extra cost. *Please Note: If a medical professional deems an alternative form of medicine such as Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, etc - as necessary for the treatment of a Chronic Medical Illness - will aid the recuperation process from a significant injury, account holders will have to obtain a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).

If an account holder has a medical condition that will require a service to be included in a treatment plan, a physician must produce a "Letter of Medical Necessity" containing a specific diagnosis about how that specific service will be used to alleviate the issue.

Additionally, the physician must outline how long the treatment will last and another LMN must be submitted if the treatment exceeds the current plan year.
