Got a question? We’re here to help.
No, you don’t have to. but just because you don’t have to, doesn’t mean you don’t want to! We believe you and your skin is beautiful just the way it is. Bryght skin bryghtening products are not meant to change the color of your skin tone, bryght skin bryghtening products work by targeting only excess melanin by inhibiting an enzyme in our skin called tyrosinase which is responsible for the extra melanin production. So not to worry, your skin bryghtening products will only bryghten an area that is darker than your natural skin tone. For the same reason we exfoliate and wear foundation/concealer, bryght’s skin bryghtening products will even out your skin tone. Pretty fun science, hey!
YES! All Bryght products can be used anywhere externally. Underarms, bikini, intimate areas, face, knees, etc!
For skin bryghtening, we suggest starting with our duo kit and seeing an esthetician for a professional bryght treatment at a spa in your area. If you find your skin has some light shedding, you can use our courage facial comfort cream to moisturize and hydrate.
Face, underarms, knees, elbows, inner thighs, derriere/bum cheeks and intimate areas like the nipples, anal region, or labia.
Most hyperpigmentation that has occurred over time can be treated with bryght. Melasma, chloasma, age spots, sunburns, stretch marks, acne, redness, irritation, scars and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation are just some of the types of hyperpigmentation that can be brightened by Bryght.
It is highly advised to remove the hair prior to treatment, an open follicle will allow for deeper product absorption to see better results.
There are two ways to achieve brightening.
For best results have the 4 step in spa professional treatment 1-2 times per week until desired results are achieved, then maintain the results at home by using the bryghtenup duo kit twice a day.
You can also use our Bryghtenup Duo Kit at home to achieve brightening results or to maintain your results between professional services.
Usually 1-3 shades lighter after the first professional treatment, but everyone is different. It is a natural product so you may need to allocate for time and commitment. Results usually shown 4-8 weeks of using the duo kit
Results at home will vary. Most people will notice significant changes with continued use.
The all-natural formula will safely lighten the skin to a more even skin tone. You will not achieve any hypopigmentation, where the skin becomes lighter than the baseline skin colour.
All Bryght products are all-natural and do not contain harsh chemicals like hydroquinone, kojic acid or mercury. Hydroquinone is associated with many unpleasant side effects and it is our opinion that it is not appropriate for use on intimate areas.
The main active lyghtening ingredients are:
Phenylethyl resorcinol: a whitening agent derived from pine trees that has been found to have the ability to inhibit tyrosinase activity. 2-3 times more effective as a skin lightener that kojic acid.
Lactic acid: aha to treat hyperpigmentation, age spots and improve uneven skin tone.
Sodium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin c): a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin c that functions as an antioxidant and is potentially effective for bryghtening an uneven skin tone.
Cucumis sativus (cucumber) extract: antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and skin-conditioning properties, reduces excess oil.
Emblica phyllanthus (indian gooseberry) extract: contains very high amounts of vitamin c, or ascorbic acid, a powerful antioxidant known to reduce wrinkles, suppress pigmentation, and help skin retain its natural moisture.
Ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin c): a soluble derivative of vitamin c, which is non irritating and more stable than pure vitamin c, which means it is well suited for extra sensitive skin.
Arctostaphylos uva-ursi (bearberry) leaf extract: bearberry extract has antioxidant properties, and is known to have skin-bryghtening properties.
Glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) extract: antioxidant, skin-conditioning agent – humectant, licorice is a soothing and healing extract used to treat sensitive, irritated or inflamed skin. It also helps to reduce the appearance of age spots and discoloration as a natural skin lightener.
Morus alba (mulberry) extract: has antioxidant properties, but its main benefit for skin has to do with calming signs of irritation along with its potential to fade the look of discolorations and uneven skin tone.
Citrus medica limonum (lemon) extract: high levels of natural antioxidants, particularly vitamin c. Research has shown the association between application of vitamin c and the protection of skin from potential uv damage, as well as its ability to help lighten discoloration.
Completely natural and safe! however, it is not recommended for use while pregnant due to heightened hormones as this is when pigmentation can be caused. for best results use after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Yes 100% vegan friendly as our ingredients are plant-derived. we love our animal friends!
Bryght was clinically tested for 6 months, where constant improvements were made to ensure your satisfaction remained our top priority. Results with the average client seeing 1-3 shades lighter after only 1 professional treatment!
Pregnancy and breastfeeding – only since the results will not last while the hormones are heightened and cause more hyperpigmentation. for best results, use after pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Using bryght in conjunction with hydroquinone, kojic acid or any other harsh chemical that have the ability to strip or over-lighten the skin.
