The mandeliclear peel system is a deeper peel that was developed specifically to treat pigmentation issues associated with BIPOC. This treatment is meant for women who have problems with ingrown hairs in the bikini/Brazilian area. This service will help cleanse, steam, exfoliate, extract, tone, then a hydrating mask and hydrating serum. To fight those ingrown hairs, skin pigmentation and smooth out the skin tone to relieve the skin of ingrown hairs caused by constant waxing or shaving. We use products formulated to help alleviate ingrown and prep your skin to perfection for future waxing or sugaring appointments.
ACNE BOOTCAMP
Up to 60 minutes. A very in depth consultation where we discuss many factors including but not limited to nutrition, homecare, environment that may be contributing to your acne. This appointment will include a skin sensitivity test, if needed, and $100 worth of products. Home care is required to participate in this program, the average cost is $120-$200. 90% success rate, most of our clients are clear or almost clear in 3-4 months depending on severity.

How many ThermoClear treatments will I need?
For many clients, one session is all it takes! At your skin analysis and consultation, your esthetician will check and determine whether a 15-minute session is sufficient. Sometimes, 2 or more sessions may be needed to complete the treatment, and/or a combination of professional treatments and homecare to achieve your goals.

Do ThermoClear treatments hurt?
A small thin probe is used to barely touch the skin which vaporizes and dries the affected area creating very small crusts that heals and flakes off in 3 to 15 days. Clients describe their pain level as a 1-3 on a scale of 1-10. Similar to the sensation of a very quick sting which dissipates quickly when the probe is lifted – the probe never pierces the skin. There’s a quick, minimal discomfort–a brief sting that only lasts a few seconds as each lesion is vaporized.

What happens after my ThermoClear treatment/service and what is the aftercare?
You may experience some mild irritation, redness, and crusting on the treated areas. You will need to avoid direct sunlight immediately after the treatment–but it’s smart to be sun-safe all the time! Within 24-hours the treated area will create a small dark spot on the skin, that we call a lesion. This “brown spot” is perfectly normal and will slough off in about 5-10 days, revealing a slightly pink spot, which is going to be a little sensitive. Depending on your skin conditions it can take 30+ days for the slight pink spot and sensitivity to heal.
Post treatment home care is highly encouraged!
- DO NOT PICK the area – avoid picking and scratching the treated area to achieve your best results. If any crusting appears you can apply an antibiotic cream. Some practitioner’s recommend Bacitracin and/or Caladryl lotion and others prefer an after sunburn gel.
- Makeup may be used 24 hours after the treatment, unless there is any sign of epidermal bleeding. It is recommended to use fresh makeup or a powdered mineral makeup to reduce the possibility of infection.
- You may shower after the treatment with tepid (lukewarm) water. If extensive work has been done on the treated area, you may need to apply Aquaphor or healing balm when you are in the shower and lightly remove it after bathing. Skin should be patted dry and not rubbed. After 24 hours, you can wash the area gently with a mild soap.
- You may experience redness, scabbing, and/or slight bruising for 5-10 days after the treatment. Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 2-3 weeks and throughout the course of your recommended treatment process. Use sunscreen SPF 30 or higher at all times when going out in the sunlight.
- Avoid tweezing, waxing/sugaring, bleaching, chemical peels, and all laser treatments during the course of the treatment. Do not use irritants such as Retin-A, glycolic, or exfoliators, including a loofa, until the area has completely healed up.
- Call your ThermoClear professional with any questions or concerns you may have during your treatment aftercare. Check-in a week after your treatment via email with updated pictures and any questions and concerns you may have.
- You can use a post treatment skin care home regimen 24 hours after treatment to help with your results and healing process. Schedule your next facial within a month.

What should I expect after my Rezenerate XO8 Nano-Infusion Facial?
Here’s what you should expect in the days following the treatment.
0-24 hours: You’ll notice your fine lines and wrinkles will start fading. Your face will feel fuller and more voluminous.
Day 3-5: Your old skin will start to slowly and gently peel off, leaving fresh new skin to show up on the surface.
Days 7-10: Healthier skin begins to come fully to the surface, and you will notice a healthy glow.
Day 10-15: You’ll notice the most significant benefits during this period, and your skin will look its best.

What is acne?
Acne is an inherited disorder of the pores – pores that shed dead skin cells much faster than normal. Normal pores shed about one layer of dead skin cells per day inside the pore. The acne-prone pore sheds up to five layers of dead skin cells per day and the body just can’t keep up. This forms the microcomedone, the beginning of all acne. Taking up to 90 days, it turns into blackheads or congestion under the skin; or if bacteria is present (which just loves to feed on the dead skin cells and oil), it turns into inflamed pimples or pustules and maybe even cysts.

How long will it take to clear?
Because it takes up to 90 days for acne to form, you may still have 90 days of acne that will surface. Our acne products and protocol will keep the new acne from forming that would surface 90 days from now. The Face Reality Acne System will have your acne under control in about three to six months (in most cases) depending on your type of acne. Some types of acne take longer to clear. Your Acne Specialist will customize a home care regimen that takes at least five things into consideration - your type of acne, your skin type, your skin color, your skin sensitivity and your environment. The biggest part of getting your skin clear will be your commitment to doing your home care regimen as instructed and following lifestyle guidelines.

Your progress will be closely monitored by a Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist who will make sure you have the best regimen for your skin - making adjustments, if necessary, to get your skin healthy and clear in the fastest way possible.

What are adjustments to home care?
We assess your skin every two weeks to see if we can make your regimen a bit stronger. We do not want your skin to get used to products, but also not make the regimen so strong that your skin gets dry and irritated. This method will keep your skin clearing up. It’s important to know that if adjustments are not made, your progress may stall. If, for some reason, you cannot make it in for a treatment, you must contact your Acne Specialist to get your next set of instructions for home care adjustment.
